Our Story
STEVE MORTON is a red seal chef with over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry as a chef and restaurant manager. Steve believes in the benefits of fresh foods and uses wholesome ingredients in everything he makes. He is a connoisseur of fine brandies and cognacs and a lover of the arts. In his off time you can find him working with his other skills as a builder, electrician, plumber and lover of jazz. His signature look is to sport a brightly coloured Hawaiian shirt while he shares wisdom in his calm and cool style.
LORI LEE PIKE studied visual arts, and is known locally for her graphic design and photography skills. She was co-owner and operator of the very successful Hollett Visual Communications from 1997-2007, when she joined the staff of Memorial University's Grenfell Campus Marketing and Communications department as the graphic artist and campus photographer. A past member of the Corner Brook Rotary Club, Lori Lee was awarded the Corner Brook Status of Women's Woman of the Year in 2003; and Entrepreneur of the Year from the Greater Corner Brook Board of Trade. She is a singer who shares her love of music as part of the musical duo Cadence with Tom Boland. Lori Lee was lead singer of the local band, The Moonlighters, joined in the chorus with TNL’s community musicals, was a founding member of the Off Broadway Players, and is involved in the west coast branch of Growing the Voices.
